“Creates a real connection with the garden”

The Totty’s contacted Welsh Oak Frame when they wanted to extend their beautiful Tudor style home. Their aim was to maximise the views of the surrounding garden while opening up the kitchen to include a seating and dining area.

To ensure the views from the rooms upstairs were not disrupted by the extension, it was decided that a flat-roofed, traditional orangery would be the perfect solution.

The large lantern floods the extension and neighbouring kitchen with natural light while ensuring the temperature remains stable all year round. French doors and direct glazing help create a real connection with the garden and further increase the natural light entering the room.

The orangery is now the hub of the home and enhances the beauty of the main property.
