A sun room extension built with oak will add character, style and valuable additional space to your property. Sun room extensions can be designed to suit both contemporary and traditional homes with the oak frame playing a crucial part in the overall character of the room, packed with eye-catching design details.
All year round use
With its solid, tiled roof, the temperature of an oak frame sunroom remains ambient throughout the seasons making them a popular choice when it comes to energy efficiency. Adding features such as underfloor heating or a log burner will result in a room that can be used all year round.
A sun room extension with all year round views
Oak frame sunroom designs feature plenty of expansive glazing, often with full height glazed gables or vaulted ceilings. This allows the oak to really stand out while ensuring a light filled extension that capitalises on picture perfect views.
Multi-functional spaces
An oak frame sunroom is a practical addition to any home. With many uses, an oak frame sunroom can be used as a space to relax in, to entertain guests, as an extension to your kitchen or even a place to work. Our oak frame extensions are always designed to flow with the other rooms in the house as well as the garden.
Sun room extension in-house design and planning permission service
Our in-house designers will turn your brief into a set of drawings where your oak frame sunroom extension really begins to take shape. They can also handle the process of gaining planning permission and building regulation approval.

What makes our oak frames special?
What makes our oak frames so special is the care and attention our expert team of carpenters put into them. We are one of the few oak framing companies that still truly handcrafts oak, resulting in more impressive oak frames. Free from the limitations of mass timber processing machinery, we have the ability to craft magnificent oak frame features and include intricate detailing that can only be achieved by hand.
