“A space that feels connected to the garden”

In the heart of a quaint little Cotswold village, this beautiful stone-built home opens up on to a beautiful, well-kept garden. The Tupper family turned to Welsh Oak Frame when they decided it was time to capitalise on the views and vistas in front of them with one of our bespoke oak frame garden rooms.

It was important that the extension blended seamlessly with the main home while providing panoramic views of the grounds. Our solution was a faceted garden room connected to the kitchen providing a new living and dining area.

The round oak framed garden room extension features a number of oak trusses that create height and the feeling of light and space. The exposed rafters give a more traditional aesthetic, blending the garden room with the existing home. Our unique direct-glazing system allows uninterrupted, floor to ceiling views of the surrounding landscapes and bifold doors open up to the stunning grounds, creating a space that feels connected with the outdoors.

Our team of carpenters have handcrafted the oak, creating curves which form the circular design.  To ensure the room is usable all year round, a fireplace was installed in the solid wall, providing warmth in the colder winter months. This round oak framed garden room extension is the perfect example of what true handcrafting oak can achieve.
